An anonymous donor has provided a generous $10,000 matching challenge for RUNWAY: In Reel Time.  This year, in lieu of sponsorships, please consider a gift toward the $10,000 challenge to help JFCS support those in our community—our friends and neighbors—who need help with basic necessities or who are dealing with depression, anxiety, grief and other issues directly or indirectly related to COVID-19.

JFCS has helped almost 700 unique individuals—many on a weekly basis—since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. Beginning in mid-March, JFCS started serving clients remotely, pivoting immediately from in-person counseling sessions and home visits to online appointments and phone calls. The team is ensuring that mental health and basic needs are being met.

Looking ahead, there will continue to be an increased demand for counseling, emergency financial assistance, as well as food and essentials. With your help, JFCS will continue to serve those whose lives have been upended in so many ways by the pandemic.
