Our featured speaker…Aasha Ramdeen

A native of Trinidad, whose culture of bright hues and bold prints inspires and influences her work, Aasha Ramdeen is currently a Print Designer for Manhattan Beachwear. In addition to her freelance clients that include Mattel, Disney and The Mindy Project, Aasha has her own Etsy shop, AashaRamdeenDesign. She has been honored with several prestigious awards in her field.

Aasha will share her incredible story with us and show us the process of taking original art and recreating it in the designer’s vision, the history of textile design, and how print, color, and scale complement ready-to-wear and swimwear.
